C is for.... cookie?

Nope, Cookie Monster was wrong. That record that used to play on repeat and I used to sing along to is a distant memory. C is no longer for cookie, it is for Cancer. I am sooo sick of that word. Lately, every time I turn around someone else is finding out they or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, and it is always worse than the previous person. Why? It just doesn't seem right.

I had to take my BIL to chemo yesterday. I picked him up at 8:30am, and then dropped him off and got to work by 3:15pm. I was supposed to be at work at 2pm, but you know what, chemo takes time and that is more important. It was a long, draining process for him. He puts on a tough face but when I picked him up and he got in my car, my heart just ached for him. He is pale, losing hair, including the facial hair I've always known him to have, and just didn't have any life in his face. He is being so brave after 4 weeks, but has 6 more weeks to go. He goes 1 week m-f for 5-6 hours a day, then one day the following week, with some shots in between. What a rough schedule. We are going again on Friday. At least now I know what I'm in for.

The thing that angered me the most, was the lady next to me. Talking loudly on the phone, complaining the whole time how long it was taking while she was sitting there with her mother. I mean COME ON. The person in the chair is the one who should be complaining, not you. Some people are so selfish and think only of themselves.

Anyway, on the TTC front, AF is here, and we will be moving onto cycle #3. I'm going to use OPKs this time to see if I can pinpoint O a little better. It had been clear up to this last cycle, so I figure why not use them if it can help with timing? I think the biggest problem will be holding my pee for a few hours. I drink water like a fish! I think some of you probably read that and thought "Thats not all she drinks like a fish!" Well lets just say, that depends on the day! ::wink, wink::
