We are moving forward. Onward as my internet bestie would say. We have a surgery date of next Thursday. Yes that is less than 10 days away!! Then, we may or may not be doing an IUI next cycle. This is just me talking, I still have to make an appointment with my RE. He may want us to wait a bit longer, and I'm not 100% sure that is our next step, but I am thinking yes.
If we have to wait a cycle or two, I'll be more than ok with it and here is why.
1) When you get to cycle 15, what is 1 or 2 more?
2) I can get through that much more of baseball season. Now my job shouldn't be at the top of my priority list, and trust me, it is far below my family, but it gives me anxiety to think of people working for me (probably motherfucking me the whole time) and also thinking of my boys in other (possibly less than capable) hands. Ok so they really are most likely just as capable, but they can't add in that motherly touch that I do.
3) The longer we wait, the more chance of improved sperm count, motility and morphology.
4) We should save more money.
5) Back to the work thing. If I can get through next spring, have a late spring or summer baby, the baby will be so much more older when I have to travel again.
Hey, gotta look at the positive to get through each day sometimes!
