Things are going great. He is healing well, never was too uncomfortable, in great spirits, like seriously great. Then I had my follow up with the RE. Well, if you may remember, the HSG was done like months ago and was the first test that I did. During the test the tubes were all clear and "beautiful" but my uterus was on the left side of my spine. Why? Wellllll, sometimes it can be that way due to the way I was made (thanks mom) or sometimes it can be that way from scarring due to endometriosis. There is no definite diagnosis, but when he tugged on it (ooww) it didn't go anyway. He didn't say anything to dampen my spirits at the time, but said to me yesterday that my ute not being able to move is certainly not something he sees often. Brilliant. Oh and did I mention that my mom had a hysterectomy in her 40s due to endo? Yep, thanks again mom.
Seriously though, its quite possible I have endo, I have classic symptoms and it can contribute to infertility so maybe, just maybe this is not all on one person. He suggested a laproscopy to diagnose and treat my possible endo. I don't have to do this, however it may need to be done down the road if we are not successful in achieving pregnancy. Its only cycle 15, I mean we juuuust started. HAHAHA NOT.
Sooooo not the news I expected however, I'm rolling with it, because really at this point, why the hell not? I scheduled it for July 6th during this cycle, so this is another break cycle. It is actually not a horrible thing because they said it will take a month for hubb's swimmers to get up to snuff anyway, so why not get it all out of the way, and get ready to tackle this baby making full force next month?
I am on edge to see the results after all of your tests and procedures! It HAS to end on a positive (BFP) note. :)
