Over a week later...

Finally some results. Well sort of. For my BIL, the pathology report showed 2 types of cancer. One that was contained, and one that wasn't. Umm, huh? Anyway, that is what they showed, so they are leaning towards both chemotherapy and radiation. They sent the test results to John Hopkins for their take on it. Now he will have to see two different oncologists. I am so sad for him. All this at the age of 24.

So my MIL, she is getting the good news right now. She is able to treat the cancer with a new procedure, where they can do the radiation treatment twice a day, in a matter of 5 days. This is great because the alternative is once a day for 8-12 weeks. That will make her summer much easier, and focus on taking care of my BIL. This is just a lot to take at once.

On a happier note, I enjoyed my wine tour this weekend. I promised a picture, so here are a couple. I got a little crazy, but if you know me that is nothing new!
