Update and Recipe

So today was alright. The surgeon came out and actually showed us the testicle with the tumor in it before sent it to pathology. Hubby almost vomited, but I thought it was cool, just from a medical standpoint. It was a good size though :( We should get the test results back within 1-2 days and we'll know whether it was contained there or possibly has spread. The original plan was for it to be an outpatient procedure, however he is spending the night. He is getting some CT scans done tomorrow, so we will get another look at the mass in his abdomen. Think good thoughts!

So I had some requests for the Ice Cream Cake so here is the recipe:

• Take 1 package of Oreos; crush them all, and set 1/2 cup aside to be used for the topping.

• Melt about a stick of butter/margarine and mix in with the Oreo mixture and press into the bottom of the pan to create a crust.

• Melt a half gallon of vanilla (flavor optional) ice cream so that it is a spreadable consistency. Spread over the Oreo crust and freeze.

• Once the ice cream is frozen again, spread 1 jar of hot fudge over the ice cream and freeze.

• Once that has frozen, spread a tub of cool whip over the hot fudge layer, and sprinkle the rest of the Oreo mixture on top. Freeze again.

• Serve and ENJOY!!!
